Journey Productions has proudly collaborated with Crohn’s & Colitis UK for the past six years. For this latest commission, we produced a series of short case study films highlighting the real-life stories of young people living with Crohn’s disease.
Filmed on location in London, Brighton, and Glasgow, the project features young individuals who candidly share their experiences of managing a long-term illness and navigating transitional care.
The primary purpose of these films is to serve as an educational resource for other young people affected by Crohn’s disease, and they will be featured on the charity’s website. Edited shorter versions will also be shared across social media to reach a wider audience.
To create a more personal and authentic viewing experience, all interviews were filmed using the EyeDirect technique, allowing contributors to maintain direct eye contact with the viewer—fostering a stronger emotional connection, especially with younger audiences.
